VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Every year The Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel (AMEC) hosts The Counsel of the Year Awards, recognizing the role of attorneys in the judicial process, popular culture, and the entertainment industry.
This year, the event will occur on January 19th, 2023 from 4:30-8pm, and AMEC is looking to fill several volunteer roles, including but not limited to event greeters, live social media bloggers, gift bag assistants, and similar event-related roles.
Volunteers will be assigned to their roles on the day of the event. Volunteers will receive a complimentary one-year membership to AMEC. On top of this, individuals will receive an incredible networking opportunity by volunteering for the 2023 Counsel of the Year Awards as they will be surrounded by the cream of the crop when it comes to professionals in this field.

EVENT INFORMATION
The 2023 Counsel Of The Year Awards will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the Manhattan Beach Country Club. This year’s honorees will be recognized at a glamorous Cocktail Reception that starts with Red Carpet Arrivals at 5 p.m.
AMEC is the only organization of its kind, a 17-year-old association consisting of over 14,000 in-house counsel and business executives at each of the studios, networks, Guilds, talent agencies and major entertainment and media companies. AMEC will recognize the top legal talent in the following categories:
