Program Description:
Entertainment and IP cases are routinely mediated – but the mediation of these cases is hardly routine. Complex facts, evolving law, and strong personalities make every entertainment and IP mediation a challenge – and on top of all that, we have to adapt to doing most mediations online. Advocates face many questions on the road to successful outcomes. This panel will give the new answers which the evolving circumstances of 2022 require.

Topics include:
– When is the right time to mediate?
– How do you pick a mediator?
– How should you prepare?
– What about Joint Sessions?
– Who should attend and what is the role of your client?
– How do you close the deal? How do you anticipate future disputes?
– How can you make your client happy?
